“My family and I are so happy that we made the decision to move mom to this lovely place. It is filled with knowledgeable, caring people. These people made mom’s life better. Nurse Zhar was always sensitive to her needs, called when a situation arose and was always so kind. The community life ladies are fantastic. Over the years, mom has been fortunate enough to have many good aides. Angela helped mom walk, and mom was so grateful for that experience. Mom often said that while walking, Angela worked as hard as she did. The pastors lead excellent services and make a point of getting to know the residents. The church was very important to mom and she relished her association with these good people. As I look back at these caring people, one thing that they all have in common is that they talked to mom. She enjoyed that. It made her feel happy and at home. The Methodist Church can be proud of The Shores ... based on our experiences … it is a fine place to live. We will always be grateful! ”
“I want to acknowledge the excellent staff and exceptional services I received. The accommodations were very comfortable, and I had easy access to everything I needed. All of the nursing staff were kind, friendly and compassionate. They checked on me regularly and anytime I needed assistance they were quick to come to my aid, even in the middle of the night. The rehabilitation specialists were caring and thorough in setting up my exercise program. They knew just the type of exercises that would be most beneficial to meet our mutual goals. My family and I were keep informed of my progress and any changes to the program. I could virtually have anything I wanted to eat anytime of the day or night. I also appreciate that the administrative staff made sure we were aware of any impacts my insurance would have on my stay. It was a comforting experience during a difficult time in my life. I will always be grateful to the wonderful group of people at your facility! — Ruth Coates”
